Debate! Diplomacy! Discovery! The SISMUN Legacy Begins… Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School proudly hosted its first-ever Intra-School Model United Nations SISMUN 2025 a remarkable, student-led initiative by the passionate learners of Standards 9 and 10. The inaugural ceremony, held on 1st August, was graced by our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Lakshmi Madhusudan, along with Chief Guest Mr. Mahek Kamdar, a renowned advocate at the Supreme Court and High Court, and External Guide and Mentor Mr. Vignesh Narayana, a practicing advocate. The presence of our coordinators and teachers further enriched the occasion. The MUN sessions, conducted on 2nd August, featured two engaging committees: ● United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), chaired by Ms. Ishi Chandra, an aspiring lawyer, deliberated on the critical issue of Global Food Insecurity. ● United Nations Security Council (UNSC), chaired by Ms. Neha Misra, a law student, conducted intense discussions on Preventing the Onset of World War III. Throughout the event, students demonstrated outstanding skills in research, diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking. From drafting resolutions and conducting committee proceedings to managing logistics, media, press, and design, every element of SISMUN was executed with professionalism, precision, and passion. SISMUN 2025 was more than just a simulation; it was a celebration of student leadership, initiative, and global awareness. It marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey toward fostering excellence and nurturing future-ready citizens.
