On Friday, 28th November, our school hosted a thought-provoking Street Play Competition for Grade 9 students, focusing on the social impact on the environment. In the first slot (1:00 pm - 1:30 pm), Vindhya House performed on "Greed and Green", highlighting how excessive consumption harms the environment, while Ganga House addressed "Plastic Pollution", showcasing the devastating impact of plastic waste on marine life. In the second slot (2:00 pm - 2:30 pm), Himachal House presented "Natural Disaster", linking extreme weather events to human activities, and Yamuna House tackled "Carbon Footprint", emphasizing the need for sustainable practices. Through this competition, students learned about the consequences of human actions on the environment and the importance of responsible behavior. They gained valuable insights into collective responsibility and the power of individual actions in mitigating environmental challenges.
