Cyber Security Awareness Workshop for Standard 9 Students Our school hosted a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop specifically for the students of Standard 9. The workshop aimed to educate them on the importance of online safety and security. The chief guest, Mr. Prakash Tukaram Warke, Senior Police Inspector at the Cyber Police Station, Thane City, brought with him over 27 years of experience in the police department, including 16 years of specialization in cybercrime. He emphasized the importance of being aware of cyber threats and adopting best practices for online security. Key topics covered during the workshop included: ● Safe usage of social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook ● Understanding online risks and how to mitigate them ● Tips for managing Instagram accounts and staying updated with platform changes ● General online safety practices in the digital age The workshop offered valuable insights and practical guidance, empowering students to navigate the online world more safely and responsibly.
