Intra Youth Parliament 2023

Jul 22, 2023

The 3rd Intra Youth Parliament at Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School on 22nd July 2023 was a dynamic and transformative platform to discuss "The Impact of Climate Change on the Environment". This event aimed to provide young individuals with the opportunity to engage in the democratic process, develop leadership skills, and actively participate in shaping the future of their nation.

As the leaders of tomorrow, the students of grade 8 involvement in politics showcased a crucial platform for building a strong and inclusive society as parliamentarians belonging to the Lok Sabha encouraged active participation being responsible citizens.

Our Chief Guest Dr K. K. Sunitha spoke about policy makers and inculcating a spirit of cooperation which was further evident as participants collaborated to find common ground and develop comprehensive policy recommendations. Our esteemed judges for the event Ms Rhea Khanolkar and Ms Karunadevi Singh displayed a remarkable ability to analyze problems addressed critically by the students, guided them to be effective agents of change and ensured their voices were heard.

The highlight of the event was the series of passionate debates and discussions on issues that directly impact the youth, such as education, employment, environmental sustainability, and mental health. Participants presented well-researched arguments and proposed youth-centric policies to address these pressing challenges. The Youth Parliament deliberated on ways to combat climate change through renewable energy initiatives, responsible waste management, and promoting eco-friendly practices in communities and industries.

As the nation looks forward to a more inclusive and prosperous future, the contributions of these young leaders will undoubtedly be instrumental in making that vision a reality.
