During the Equal Sharing activity, students of Grade 2 enthusiastically participated in a hands-on learning experience using grapes. They solved simple sharing sums by dividing the grapes equally among different groups, which helped them understand the concept in a fun and practical way. The use of real objects made learning meaningful and engaging for the students. Through this activity, students not only learned about equal sharing and basic division but also improved their counting and problem-solving skills. They also understood the importance of fairness and sharing equally in their everyday life. The children just could not wait to eat the grapes later and happily relished the sweet and sour grapes at the end of the activity.
