Subtraction Activity – Learning Mathematics through Fun The students of Sr.KG were introduced to the concept of subtraction through an exciting, hands-on activity using colourful U-pins and magnets. They solved single-digit subtraction sums by picking up the required number of U-pins with a magnet and counting the remaining pins to find the answer. Hands-on learning makes mathematics fun, interactive and meaningful for young learners. By exploring mathematical concepts through concrete materials, children develop a better understanding of numbers and quantities rather than simply memorising facts. Such activities encourage logical thinking, problem-solving skills, concentration and confidence. Introducing mathematics through playful experiences helps children develop a positive attitude towards the subject. It lays a strong foundation for future mathematical learning by connecting abstract concepts to real-life experiences, making learning both enjoyable and effective. “From picking up pins to subtracting numbers, our little mathematicians discovered that learning maths can be magical when fun meets hands-on exploration!” #SmtSunitideviSinghaniaSchool#SinghaniaSchool#SubtractionActivity #LearningThroughPlay#HandsOnLearning#MathsMadeFun#LittleMathematicians
