Nursery:Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

Aug 26, 2025

Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most loved festivals of India, is celebrated with great devotion and joy. It marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the giver of wisdom, prosperity, and happiness. At our school, we believe that festivals are a wonderful way to teach children about culture and values. To celebrate this occasion, our little ones from Nursery and Jr. KG took part in special activities that filled the day with excitement and festive spirit. The children came dressed in colorful traditional Maharashtrian attire — dhoti, kurta, navari saree, and pheta — which brought alive the essence of the festival. Nursery students painted pictures of Lord Ganesha using the flower dabbing technique, while Jr. KG children explored their creativity through rangoli painting, okra printing, paper twisting, and dabbing. Together, they prepared a bright and beautiful collage of Ganapati Bappa and pooja elements. To add sweetness to the day, children also brought Bappa’s favorite treats — modak and ladoo. For our little learners, such celebrations are more than just fun. They help children express their creativity, enjoy working together, and understand the meaning of our traditions. Above all, the festival reminded them of Lord Ganesha’s teachings — to be wise, kind, and brave while facing challenges. The celebration not only filled the school with joy and devotion but also created lasting memories for our tiny tots. May Lord Ganesha bless all our children with happiness, good health, and success always.
