India is a land of cultural inclusiveness where people of numerous religions live in harmony. Each religion has its own tradition and festivals. These festivals are an expression of joy, care, love, devotion and much more. They bring people together and bind them in a common bond. We celebrate different festivals, involving children to infuse the value of our rich culture. Today we celebrated Navratri with great enthusiasm. The festival of Navratri is observed in honor of Goddess Durga. After the celebration of nine days of Navratri we celebrate Dusshera on the 10 th day. The celebration started by offering prayers to Maa Durga and seeking blessings to protect everyone from evil. Importance of nine days of Navratri and Dusshera was explained through the puppet story and dance performance by teachers. The event became lively with dance, music and devotional environment. Children were overjoyed with hails of JAI MAA DURGA. Girls were dressed up elegantly in Chaniya Cholis and boys in ethnics colorful attire. Children enjoyed and were delighted with Garba Celebration later. May Maa Durga bless each one of us with good health, happiness and prosperity.
