We celebrated Makar Sankranti in our kindergarten with joy and enthusiasm. The children learned about the festival’s significance, the importance of sharing tilgul and about customs like flying kites. Children also got to know about the festival ‘Lohri’ and its significance. A Lohri corner was created with the bonfire and decorations was by the teachers. Dressed in colorful traditional attire, children enjoyed the kite making activity and eating tilgul sweets with their friends. The celebration ended with smiles and a small takeaway of a kite. It was a day of learning, fun, and introducing our little ones to India’s rich cultural traditions!
