Holi Celebration

Mar 22, 2024

Holi, the festival of colours, is an exuberant celebration cherished not only in India but also across the globe. It heralds the advent of spring, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, and unites people in a jubilant spectacle of vibrant hues.

In the pre-primary section, Holi was commemorated with boundless enthusiasm. Children adorned in colourful attire reveled in storytelling sessions and savoured delectable treats like puranpoli and sweets. The highlight of the festivities was the creation of a handprint tree by the children, adding an artistic touch to the celebrations. In order to instill love for the environment in our children "we used makeshift water guns (pichkari) to squirt water on plants." This not only teaches them about the importance of watering plants but also fosters a sense of fun and care for the environment.

Holi celebration serves as a reminder to embrace joy and togetherness, creating cherished memories that linger long after the last splash of colours has faded.
