Diwali is known as the festival of lights. The festival symbolizes the “victory of light over darkness”.
The preprimary children of Sunitidevi Singhania School celebrated this festival with joy and fervor. Our tiny tots learned that the victory of light over darkness can be achieved in many ways, like spreading joy, love, compassion, and togetherness.
Diwali is one such festival that brings everyone together. Fun week was conducted where children coloured and decorated diyas, made Diwali lanterns, and decorated Niche area in a beautiful way.
They also made Diwali postcards for their parents and went to the post office to post the cards for their loved ones. Children came dressed in festive clothes on November 10. They had fun games and ate Diwali special Faral (snacks) with a lot of enthusiasm and a feeling of happiness in their hearts. The school was decorated with various activities done by preschool children.
Teachers organized a puppet show for all the children, telling them the importance of Diwali and giving the message of safe and noise-free Diwali.
