AISM LITERARY COMPETITION Students of Std. 9 and 8 of Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School recently had the enriching opportunity to participate in some of the most prestigious literary and oratory events conducted under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and the Association of ICSE Schools in Maharashtra (AISM). These included the Albert Barrow Memorial All-India Inter-School Creative Writing Competition 2025, the AISM Declamation Competition, and the AISM Debate Competition. Each competition served as a platform for our students to showcase their talents, creativity, and public speaking skills. The Albert Barrow Creative Writing Competition encouraged participants to explore their imagination and sharpen their narrative and persuasive writing skills. The Declamation Competition helped students step into the shoes of famous personalities and deliver speeches with emotion, clarity, and conviction. The AISM Debate Competition tested their analytical thinking, argumentation, and ability to respond spontaneously. These experiences proved to be more than just contests. They became journeys of self-discovery and growth. Our students learned how to research deeply, build structured arguments, listen actively, and communicate confidently. They gained exposure to diverse viewpoints and developed a stronger command over language, articulation, and stage presence. Through rigorous preparation and healthy competition, they learned the value of teamwork, discipline, and respectful dialogue. These platforms not only helped them polish their literary and oratory abilities but also instilled in them a greater sense of confidence, responsibility, and resilience—skills that will guide them well beyond the school years. We're grateful to our Principal, Mrs. Lakshmi Madhusudan, for providing us with the opportunity to participate in the prestigious competition.
