Having a solid foundation in financial literacy equips students with essential life skills that are applicable in both their personal and professional lives. It helps them navigate the complexities of the modern financial world with confidence and competence.

With respect to this, an activity was conducted for Grade 8 students of Smt.SunitiDevi Singhania School to keep them informed and responsible for financial decisions throughout their lives.

1. Students were given the assignment whereby two income slabs of Rs.50,000 and Rs.30,000 were allotted to them.

2. Students were asked to think logically and give an estimated calculation of their monthly expenses.

3. This assignment was given to the students so that they understand the importance and value of money and how they will prioritise their budgets in different circumstances. It will also make the students aware about the importance of savings.
