The students of the Junior and Senior Section of Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School celebrated the Grandparents Day, on 17th Sepetmber,2021 with their class teachers and grandparents. Grandparents participated enthusiastically and shared priceless experiences about their school life and how festivals were celebrated during their time.

The eye-opening one-hour session provided an insight to all about the traditional celebration of festivals, the social / school life of yesteryears. They spoke about the balance between academics and physical activities, on the simplicity of education during their days and how it is more complex now. While the grandparents acknowledged that students are more distant from traditions, they commended them for being more mature and adept at technology & reasoning.

The event was re-affirmation of the values and the special place grandparents have in a child’s life. The session ended with students preparing greeting cards/ e-cards for the occasion. The grandparents thanked the school management for making it a memorable day for them. It was a fun filled interactive session with the love and blessings from the grandparents.
