Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India. The name ‘Deepawali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’.

The celebration of Diwali, came alive at Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School on 21st October, 2022.

Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them.

Our Director Madam, Mrs. Revati Srinivasan, gave away the message to all students and teachers of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.

Students decorated diyas with colors and glitter. They also enjoyed making Rangolis and Lantern adorning the corridors and classroom threshold.

Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.
