Raksha Bandhan Celebration – A Bond of Love, Care, and Equality Grade 2 students joyfully celebrated Raksha Bandhan in the classroom, cherishing the special bond of love and respect that siblings and friends share. The girls tied beautifully handcrafted rakhis to the boys and the boys in turn, tied rakhis to the girls, symbolizing care, respect, and the promise of support. In keeping with the spirit of equality, the celebration also embraced the idea that this bond is beyond gender – anyone can tie a rakhi as a gesture of friendship and goodwill. These rakhis were thoughtfully made by our talented Grade 3 and 4 students, who lovingly shared their creations with Grade 2, making the celebration even more special. The classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and the warmth of togetherness a true reminder of the values of respect, inclusion, and unity that Raksha Bandhan stands for.
