Food brings people together. Cooking is an art because it involves all aspects of life, which needs to be nurtured in a child. Cooking boosts self-confidence and personal development. Our school conducted ‘Junior Chef’ competition recently where it encouraged its grade 3 students to use their creativity for cooking their dishes.

The competition encouraged the students to cook & eat more fruits & vegetables. The students had to explain their own menu and use their own measuring skills to create their dishes in 5 minutes. The task also ensured cooking without the use of fire or any electric appliance.

Mind-blowing dishes like pinwheels sandwiches, katori chaat, vegetable spring rolls, protein rich salad, biscuit sandwiches and many more exciting dishes were presented which put our judges in fix.

To see such talent at this tender age our hearts were filled with positive energy and enthusiasm.
