As part of the Solar System topic the students of grade 2 learnt some facts and trivia about these 8 planets. To give the students a better visual aid, the students made a 3D model out of clay and the outcome was certainly worth the effort.

The students using the knowledge given to them collected clay of different colours and formed balls out of it of different sizes depending upon the sizes of the actual planets. The students enjoyed themselves making the 8 planets and in the process learnt more about the planets of the solar system.
