The students of Grade 1 were introduced to 2-dimensional shapes along with their similarities and differences. All kinds of objects and structures help our children in learning shapes. Children drew real life object pictures as per the shapes assigned to them. They put these circles, squares, rectangles and triangles together and made beautiful torans for their respective classes. This activity helped in learning basic shapes and geometrical figures which we encounter in our daily lives.
