Our Grade 1 students participated in an engaging and educational "Show and Tell" activity focused on the three seasons: summer, rainy, and winter. This activity aimed to enhance student’s understanding of different seasons. In preparation for the activity, students were asked to bring objects/drawings/models representing their favourite season. Each student had the opportunity to present their item and share why it represented their chosen season. During the presentations, students confidently stood before their peers, explaining the significance of their items. The "Show and Tell" activity was a resounding success, achieving several educational objectives. It enhanced students' public speaking and listening skills and encouraged them to think critically about their environment. Most importantly, it nurtured a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. It was a joyful experience that left both students and teachers looking forward to more such interactive learning activities.
