We, at Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School celebrated the International Yoga Day on June 21st 2023, keeping in mind the theme “Yoga for Humanity”. This day was dedicated to spreading awareness about the benefits of Yoga and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The students were made aware of the valuable gift of this ancient tradition – yoga, which embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action, harmony between man and nature, peace of mind, health and wellbeing of humanity.
Physical Education experts of our school instructed a few yoga asanas to the students, mentioning their health benefits and the students practiced them happily. The celebration wound up with the theme “Yoga for Humanity” etched in everybody’s body, mind and spirit.
