The joyful pursuit of academic excellence in a physical set-up has once again begun for our young learners. The elementary wing of Smt. Sunitidevi Singhania School came to life with the return of students of Grades I, II, III and IV on Tuesday, 25 January 2022.

All necessary arrangements like sanitizing classrooms, ensuring social distancing among students, clean washrooms and all other COVID- appropriate measures were taken by the school management to ensure a safe environment for all.

Teachers were thrilled to welcome their students back in classes. They decorated their classes and corridors to ensure that students go back home with beautiful memories of their first day of physical school in over two years.

Each classroom had special assembly to make it a memorable day for our little ones. The assembly commenced with chanting School Hymn and ‘Shanti Paath’ Mantra followed by the Pledge. The students were motivated by the enlightening words of our Head, Mrs. Lakshmi Madhusudan who visited each classroom, meeting students and reminding each one to follow safety rules and COVID protocols.

To fill their day with joy and happiness, the school arranged for games, music, dance, and a walk in the garden for the students. They were extremely excited to be reunited with their classmates. The happiness on their faces was heartening. The focus of the day was to help students acclimatize to the school environment, as they were returning after almost two years.

The teachers didn't shy away from letting their enthusiasm show, either. They were visibly elated to be back in school in their classrooms with their students and seemed to thoroughly enjoy this long awaited reunion with fellow teachers and students. It was definitely a fulfilling and happy experience for the teachers as well.

In all, it was a fun-filled day and the students were seen bubbling with happiness after receiving warm welcome from their teachers.
