While celebrating the day in school, the teachers were faced with the challenge of explaining the meaning of the constitution to the little ones and to introduce them to their rights and duties in simple and creative ways. Standard 1 and 2 teachers explained it to children by having interactive discussions in class. Standard 3 students were introduced to the concept of constitution innovatively by asking them to write the basic rights and duties observed in their family and through an activity, while standard 4 students were explained their basic rights and duties as a citizen of the country and were asked to present the same in innovative ways through poster making.

Children enjoyed the different activities and in the process seeds of information about this day were sown deep into their minds.
