Monsoon showers usher in a chain of religious festivals in a row. ‘Ashadi Ekadashi’ being the first such festival was celebrated in the school with a lot of enthusiasm. The celebrations started with a mesmerizing dance performance put up by the students of elementary section.

The performances of the day were filled with resplendent shades of festive fervour. Students performed a dance to the song “Vitthal, Vitthal”. Boys and girls were dressed as Warkaris with stunning costumes.

Girls carried tulsi plants, and boys played the cymbals chanting the name of “Lord Vitthal”. The celebratory atmosphere turned the school premises into mini-Pandharpur on the day of Ashadhi Ekadashi festival.

This act left the audience spellbound. Students also shared valuable information about the importance of ‘Ashadi Ekadashi’ and the relevance of ‘Pandharpur Yatra’ for the devotees. The celebration brought in a feeling of devotion and spirituality amongst the students.
